Martha Dopera Podolsky, 74, of the 1400 block of Five Forks Road, joined her saviour, Jesus Christ, on April 13, 1995, in Virginia Beach.
Mrs. Podolsky was a resident of Virginia Beach for over 15 years and was a retired nurse, having worked in Pennsylvania. She was born in Lansford, Pa., and was the daughter of the late Michael and Anna Tchir Dopera. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Dolores L. Hunsicker.
Survivors include her husband, Theodore J. Podolsky; two daughters, Martha Gnilka and Theodora Thomas, both of Virginia Beach; a son, Michael J. Podolsky of Virginia Beach; and 10 grandchildren.
A memorial service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the Little Creek Naval Amphibious Base Chapel at Independence Blvd. and Shore Drive. Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
