Myrtie E. Ausley, 75, sister, aunt and friend, went to be with our Lord Friday, April 14, 1995.
Myrtie was a retired nurse. She was a member of Port Norfolk Baptist Church.
Myrtie is survived by one brother, Charlie Ausley of Portsmouth; four sisters, Adele Evans of Rome, Ga., Mary Landin of Portsmouth, Virginia Martin of Chesapeake, and Delores Wiggins of Sun City Center, Fla.; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother, Joseph David Ausley, and a sister, Rachel A. Nanney.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday in Loving Funeral Home by Dr. Ector L. Hamrick, with burial in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. Contributions may be made to CHKD at her request.
