William J. Lambert ``Bill'', 65, of the 700 block of Farnham Lane, died April 13, 1995, in his residence.
Mr. Lambert was born in Virginia Beach. He retired from the U.S. Navy after 20 years and was a member of Fleet Reserve (NU)99 and Thalia Lynn Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Frances Lambert; a daughter, Priscilla Gail Johanson ``Gail'' of Virginia Beach; two sons, Billy Wayne Lambert ``Wayne'' of Virginia Beach and William Eugene Lambert ``Gene'' of Suffolk; two sisters, Frankie Carriker of Mt. Pleasant, N.C., and Veder Mae Langston of Charlotte, N.C.; five brothers, Odell Lambert, Ray Lambert, Buell Lambert and Otis Lambert, all of Concord, N.C., and J.D. Lambert of West Frankfurt, Ill.; and six grandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday at Kellum Funeral Home, Bonney Rd. Chapel, by the Rev. Robert Crute. Burial will be in Princess Anne Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday. Fleet Reserve Branch (NU)99 will perform services at 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
