John R. ``Jack'' Baker Jr., 45, of the 3500 block of Woodburne Drive, a custodian, died April 12, 1995, in Virginia Beach.
Mr. Baker was born in Altoona, Pa., and attended the Church of God of Prophecy. He was employed with the Virginia Beach School System for 16 years.
Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth A. Baker; three stepdaughters, Michele Ryder and Valarie Duron, both of Virginia Beach, and Patricia Hail Walker of Tampa, Fla.; two sisters, Barbara Jo Baker of Virginia Beach and Mary Lu Wall of Chesapeake; three stepgrandchildren, Bryan, Daniel and David; and a niece, Aimee M. Thomas of Chesapeake.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday in Church of God of Prophecy by the Rev. Milton Atkins. Burial will be in Rosewood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at Kellum Funeral Home, Pleasant Hall/Kempsville Chapel, from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday.
