JAMES H. FERGUSON

James Harvey ``Buddy'' Ferguson, of the 700 block of Hydro St., a retired auto mechanic, died April 12, 1995, in his residence.

Mr. Ferguson was born in Hamlet, N.C. He retired in 1965 from Willy Service Station after 30 years and was a member of Antioch Missionary Baptist Church, Male Usher Board and Masonic Lodge (NU)196.

Survivors include his wife, Mary C. Ferguson; a lovable sister-in-law Mrs. Laura S. Allen of Norfolk; devoted cousins John Roberts and Willy Roberts, both of Edenton, N.C.; a devoted adopted daughter, Mabel Richardson of Norfolk; a grandchild; two great-grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends.

A funeral will be conducted at noon Tuesday at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church, Norfolk, by Dr. I. Joseph Williams. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park. Arrangements by Hale Funeral Home. Family and friends will assemble at the home, 715 Hydro St.
