George Lee Brooks, 43, of the 900 block of Avenue E, died April 11, 1995 in a local hospital.
Mr. Brooks was born in Norfolk. He was an Army veteran.
Survivors include a son, Shanta Brooks Burston; two sisters, Shirley Brooks Mumford and Diane Brooks Harris; and three brothers, Willis James Brooks Jr., Johnnie Lee Brooks and Sammie Davis Brooks, all of Norfolk; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday at Metropolitan Funeral Service by the Rev. Calvin James. Burial will be in Riverside Memorial Cemetery. Family and friends will assemble at 717 Round Bay Ave., Norfolk, at noon Monday for funeral processional to the chapel.
