Alice Harris Dodd, 94, of the 1800 block of Camelot Drive, died April 14, 1995 in Virginia Beach.
Mrs. Dodd was born in Elizabeth City, N.C. She had been a waitress, member of Order of the Eastern Star, former member of Great Hope Baptist Church, Chesapeake, and widow of Doc Dodd.
Survivors include four sons, Miles Harris and Ralph Harris, both of Chesapeake, Howard Harris of Bedford, Texas, and Delbert Harris of Norfolk; and a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday in Old Hollywood Cemetery, Elizabeth City, by the Rev. John W. Godfrey. Arrangements by Francis A. Gay Funeral Home, South Norfolk Chapel. The family will be at the home of her son, Ralph Harris, 312 Poinsetta Lane, Chesapeake.
