Mr. Larry Lee Dinell Melvin, 37 passed on Thursday, April 13, 1995. He was a native of Va. Beach, Va. He was a U.S. Army Veteran. He was employed as a Letter Carrier with the U.S. Postal Service. He was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.
He is survived by his parents, Raymond and Lucille Melvin of Va. Beach, Va.; 2 brothers, Craig Melvin of Va. Beach, Va., and Gregory Melvin of Wichita, Kansas; his grandmother, Ella Mae Gallop; one sister-in-law, Valerie Melvin of Va. Beach, Va.; 4 nieces, Mia Bland of Norfolk, Va., Candance Melvin, Nicole Melvin and GeShawna White all of Va. Beach, Va.; 1 nephew Craig Melvin, Jr. of Va. Beach, Va., and a host of friends and relatives.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, 1925 Kempsville Road, Va. Beach, Va. A wake service will be held from 7-8 p.m. Monday at Cooke Bros. Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, Va. Beach, Va.
