Mickey Lee Jones, 20, a resident of W. Main Street, Waverly, Va., died Sat., April 15, 1995, as the result of a single vehicle auto accident on Rt. 460 in Prince George County. He was a native of Waverly and had graduated in 1993 from Rock Church Academy in Petersburg. He was an employee of Carroll's Food of Virginia in Waverly. He is survived by his mother, Norma Jean Ramsch, Petersburg; father, Jerry Lee George, Colonial Heights; maternal grandparents, Fred C. & Phyllis U. Jones, Waverly; two Aunts, Marie J. Gentry, Williamsburg and Theresa L. Hipes, Chester. He was nephew of the late Fred Earl Jones.
Funeral Services will be held in Purviance Funeral Home, Wakefield on Tuesday, April 18, 1995 at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be in Mill Swamp Baptist Church Cemetery, Ivor. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday evening from 7:00-8:30 p.m. and at other times at the residence of Fred and Phyllis Jones, Waverly. Memorial donations may be made to Prince George Emergency Crew.
