Joseph E. Scellato, 55, died April 15, 1995, in his home.
Mr. Scellato was born in Portsmouth. He was a member of Unity Baptist Church, Chesapeake. He retired from insurance sales and was disabled.
Survivors include a daughter, Vickie Lugardo of Norfolk; sons, Joseph C. Scellato of Hertford, N.C., and Gary M. Scellato of Norfolk; a stepson, Eddie Scellato of Hertford; his mother, Hilda O. Scellato of Norfolk; and three grandchildren.
A memorial service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday at Smith & Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk, by the Rev. John Hewitt. Burial will be private.
