May Belle LaMaine, 63, of the 600 block of Jacquelin Ave., a homemaker, died April 14, 1995, in Portsmouth Naval Hospital.
Mrs. LaMaine was born in Atlantic City, N.J. She was a member of Christ Presbyterian Church, The Day Circle, and was a volunteer for Meals on Wheels and Girl Scouts and Cub Scouts. She was the widow of Nicholas A. LaMaine Jr.
Survivors include a daughter, Deborah A. Schriver of Gates County, N.C.; three sons, Nicholas A. LaMaine III, of Las Vegas, Nev., Michael S. LaMaine and Dale R. LaMaine, both of Virginia Beach; three sisters, Ruth Leaven of Absecon, N.J., Frances Reiken of Bricktown, N.J., and Rae Hovel of Philadelphia, Pa.; and two grandchildren.
A memorial service will be conducted at 7 p.m. Monday at Christ Presbyterian Church, 709 Aragona Blvd., Virginia Beach, by the Rev. Clyde Johnson. Burial will be at sea at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to the Church Worship and Music Fund.
