Gilbert R. Warner, 83, of the 1300 block of Kingston Ave., died April 15, 1995.
He was a native of Great Barrington, Mass., and had retired from the Civil Service in 1981. He attended Trinity Lutheran Church.
Survivors include his wife, Mary W. Warner; one daughter, Linda S. Cole of Chesapeake; one grandchild, Lori Westby of Tennessee; and two great-grandchildren, Alexandria Westby and Donovan Westby.
The graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday in Forest Lawn Cemetery by the Rev. Lamar Sentell. The family will be at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, today from 7 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made to the Lions Eye Bank in care of Norfolk General Hospital.
