Beverly Bennett Spencer, 66, of the 5500 block of Shadowwood Drive, a homemaker, died April 15 in Norfolk.
Mrs. Spencer was born in Crown Point, N.Y. She was a member of Good Samaritan Episcopal Church, Virginia Beach, and the widow of Charles V. Spencer.
Survivors include two daughters, Sharon Hartline and Cynthia S. Munford, both of Virginia Beach; a sister, Jeannette Bennett of Suffern, N.Y.; a brother, Robert Bennett of Norfolk; and three grandchildren, James E. Munford III, Beverly Brooke Munford and Kyle Christian Munford.
A memorial service will be conducted at 6 p.m. Tuesday at Good Samaritan Episcopal Church by the Rev. Robert Lundquist. Following the memorial service the family will receive friends at the residence from 7 to 8:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Good Samaritan Episcopal Church, 1848 Baker Road, Virginia Beach.
