Michael James Hockett, 15, of the 5100 block of Providence Road, a student of Pembroke Elementary, died April 14, 1995, in his home.
He was born in Norfolk.
He is survived by his mother, Charlene Maxwell Hockett of Virginia Beach; one brother, Taylor M. Hockett of Virginia Beach; his maternal grandmother, Mrs. Nancy R. Maxwell of Virginia Beach; and his maternal grandfather, Hubert C. Maxwell of Findlay, Ohio.
The graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Rosewood Memorial Park by the Rev. Thomas P. Reynolds. The family will be at Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel, Monday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. and the residence at other times. Memorial donations may be made to the Michael Hockett Memorial Fund in care of Pembroke Elementary SPH Program.
