CECIL K. BARNETT

Cecil K. Barnett, 78, died April 15, 1995, in Virginia Beach.

Mr. Barnett was born in Union, W.Va. He had retired from the Army after 22 1/2 years of service and also from the Civil Service. He was an Army veteran of WWII and Korea.

Survivors include his wife, Edith Riddell Barnett of Brockport, N.Y.; a daughter, Virginia B. Widener of Chesapeake; three sons, Mark S. Barnett of Salisbury, Md., Barney Barnett of Fairfax, Va., and Bruce W. Barnett of Chesapeake; a brother, Larkin H. Barnett Jr. of Norfolk; five grandchildren; and stepsisters, Louise Furman of Norfolk and Alma McDaniel of Charlotte, N.C.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Indian River Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
