Capt. Horace Earl Hudgins, 93, of Hallieford, died Sunday, April 16, 1995. He was a native of Mathews County and a member of Mathews Chapel United Methodist Church. He retired from Lee Hudgins Oil Co. in Norfolk, and was a member of Seafearers International Union. He was also a member of Independent Order of Odd Fellows Chapel Mobjack Lodge 235.
Survivors include a granddaughter, Susan P. Hudgins of Zanoni, Va.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday in the Haynes Cemetery, Cobbs Creek. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today in the Foster-Faulkner Funeral Home, Mathews. Memorials may be made to the Mathews Chapel United Methodist Church Building Fund, Cobbs Creek, Va. 23035.
