STEVEN P. DAVIS

Steven Paul Davis, 52, died April 17, 1995, in a Norfolk hospital of complications following a heart attack.

Mr. Davis, a native of Branchville, Va., was a floral designer with Churchland Village Flower Shop, and was an FTD master designer. He was selected to decorate Virginia's Executive Mansion in Richmond for Christmas 1992. He was a Vietnam veteran of the U.S. Army.

Survivors include his father, Clarence P. Davis of Suffolk; three sisters, Marie A. Crosby of Smithfield, Peggy D. Edwards of Columbia, S.C., Mary Sue Cribb of Branchville; a brother, William T. Davis of Midlothian; his companion, Howard R.W. Freeman; nieces and nephews, Kathy Ross, Robyn McMinn, James W. Edwards, Susan Cribb, Kevin Cribb, Stephanie Davis, Kimberly Davis; and two great-nieces, Ashley Ross and Jamie Lyn Ross.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Baker-Foster Funeral Home, Bennett's Creek Chapel, by the Rev. Douglas Gibson. Burial will be in Beechwood Cemetery, Boykins. Friends may join the family today from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
