Thelma Leslie Witte, 84, died April 17, 1995, in Farmville, N.C.
She was a native of Portsmouth and the widow of Donald M. Witte. She was a member of Deep Creek United Methodist Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Olive Gilbert of Chesapeake and Donna Lee Rainey of Cape Coral, Fla.; a son, Charles W. Witte of Farmville, N.C.; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Olive Branch Cemetery by the Rev. Bradford L. Phillips. The family will be at Snellings Funeral Home, George Washington Highway Chapel, from 7 to 8 p.m. today and at 1708 Rowlock Court, Chesapeake, at other times. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Deep Creek United Methodist Church Building Fund.
