CLARENCE M. BABB

Clarence McKinley Babb, of the 2800 block of Victoria Ave., died April 13, 1995, in Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.

Mr. Babb was born in Norfolk, Va., and was a retired merchant seaman and was also retired from H.R.S.A.I.L.A., Local 1248. He was predeceased by his parents, the late Ethel E. and James H. Babb.

Survivors include his wife, Dora R. Babb; two daughters Gloria B. Clemons and Carolyn B. Wilkins, both of Virginia Beach; one son, Darryl A. Babb of Norfolk; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; three nieces; and one nephew.

The funeral will be conducted Thursday, April 20, 1995, at 1 p.m. by the Rev. Susie Saunders and the Rev. Mary Holloway in Smyrna Church of Christ Disciples. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park. Hale Funeral Home in charge. A wake will be held Wednesday night from 7 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Family will assemble at his home.
