A city utility worker was in critical condition Monday after a high-pressure, sewer-cleaning hose apparently whipped out of control and hit her in the torso.
Lisa Colasanti was part of a two-person crew on a sewer-cleaning truck Friday when she apparently lost control of the hose, utilities director Jim Spacek said Monday.
Equipment failure was not a factor, he said.
The other worker, who was not identified, did not see the accident, Spacek said.
