Keith Edward Keeton, 38, died Sunday, April 16, 1995. He was born in Newport News and lived there all of his life. He was a member of St. Stephen's Episcopal Church. He was also a member of the Speaker Bureau and a volunteer for the Peninsula AIDS Foundation. He was predeceased by his mother, Sylvia V. Keeton.
Survivors include his sister, Deborah A. Hintz of Hampton; brothers, Kenneth R. Keeton, Kelly L. Keeton, and Eddie O. Keeton III, all of Poquoson, and Kurt L. Keeton of Newport News; father, Edgar O. Keeton and wife, Joan, of Poquoson; maternal grandparents, Cleo Cutler and husband Nolan of Newport News; maternal grandparents, George E. Vick and wife, Dorothy, of Durham, N.C.; and paternal grandmother, Viola Keeton of Newport News.
A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, April 22, at St. Stephen's Episcopal Church, 372 Hiden Blvd., Newport News, Va. 23606, the Rev. Scott Krejci officiating. Visitation will follow the service in the parish hall of the church until 4 p.m. Burial will be private.
