JIMMIE L. LEWIS

Jimmie Lee Lewis, 48, of the 200 block of Burnett Way, died April 15, 1995, in Baltimore.

Born in Princess Anne County, Mr. Lewis was employed as a shipfitter with Newport News Shipbuilding for 18 years. He was a member of New Mount Joy COGIC in Suffolk.

Survivors include his wife, Arlena V. Lewis; a son, Milton J. Lewis of Suffolk; a sister, Elizabeth White of Louisvillle, Ky.; two brothers, Roosevelt Lewis of Norfolk and Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Lewis of Suffolk; and several other relatives and friends.

A funeral will be conducted at noon Thursday in New Mount Joy COGIC, Suffolk, by Elder W.P. Wiggins. Burial will be in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens. Viewing will begin at 2 p.m. today at T.E. Cooke-Twilight Funeral Home, Suffolk, for the public. The family will assemble at 11 a.m. Thursday at 286 Burnett Way, Suffolk, for the processional to the church.
