Janice Beale Ainslie, 62, of the 400 block of College Place, died Monday in Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.
Mrs. Ainslie was born in Norfolk and was the daughter of the late Trimigan Edward and Lucille Munden Beale. She was an associate broker with Rose & Krueth Realty Corp. Mrs. Ainslie had been a real estate agent for the past 22 years and held the following designations - GRI, CRS and CSM. She was a member of the T.A.R. Million Dollar Club, Tidewater Builders Association Million Dollar Circle and recipient of the T.B.A. Lifetime Award.
Other memberships include Town Point Yacht Club, Broad Bay Sailing Association, Mathews Yacht Club and Old Dominion University Reunion Committee.
Survivors include her husband, John Walter ``Jack'' Ainslie Sr. of Norfolk; her three sons and daughter-in-law, Scott Edward Page, Kevin William and Barbara Gray Page, all of Virginia Beach, and Todd Mason Page of San Diego, Calif.; her stepdaughter, Susan Chapman Ainslie of Virginia Beach; her two stepsons and stepdaughter-in-law, John Walter Ainslie Jr., Jeffrey Warren and Cynthia Morris Ainslie, all of Virginia Beach; two granddaughters, Kelly Elizabeth Page and Heather Diane Page, both of Virginia Beach; and two stepgranddaughters, Michelle Renee Ainslie and Renee Christine Fournier, both of Virginia Beach.
The funeral service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Thursday at the Messiah United Methodist Church, 411 Dominion Blvd., Chesapeake, by the Rev. Leonard Hazelwood. Burial will be private. The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m. today at Oman Funeral Home, Great Bridge, and Thursday immediately following the services at the home of Jeff and Cindy Ainslie, 2788 Broad Bay Road, Virginia Beach.
