Grand larceny of gun, 5500 block Lake Road, April 7, someone removed a Browning Hi-Power 9mm handgun with full clip from the garage behind a residence. The weapon was in a black, soft pistol case.
Grand larceny, 4700 block Sleepy Hole Road, April 7, a purse containing $18 in cash, various personal papers and jewelry was removed from a vehicle. The missing jewelry included a diamond ring, 1/2'' in diameter, yellow gold with approximately eight diamonds valued at $1,600.
Stolen Auto, 4200 block Presley Court, April 9, someone reports that her daughter assaulted her and took the keys to her car.
Petit larceny, 4200 block Crowdy Blvd., April 10, someone reports that she lost her 1995 Suffolk city decal within her residence.

Indecent exposure, Pine Street and Mahan Street, April 6, someone reports that a person exposed his buttocks to her as she was picking up her children from the bus.
Petit larceny, 400 block Market Street, April 6, someone removed a wine-colored, Murray USA beach cruiser bicycle while the owner was in the grocery store.
Flim flam, 1400 block North Main Street, April 7, someone was approached in a grocery store parking lot by a person who said he would sell two VCRs for $450. Both boxes were wrapped portraying a Panasonic VCR on the front with a price tag of $599.97.
Unauthorized use of motor vehicle, 900 block Garfield Ave., April 8, someone was allowed to use a vehicle but it was not returned at the agreed time and the person has not been heard from since.
Petit larceny, 900 block Lincoln Street and 2nd Ave., April 10, someone removed a Virginia state tag from a vehicle.
Petit larceny, 100 block Bosley Ave., April 12, someone removed a state inspection sticker from a vehicle.

Breaking and entering (house), 1000 block Whitemarsh Road, April 6, someone entered a residence without permission and removed two 19-inch color televisions, one RCA, the other an unknown brand name. An Emerson microwave was also taken.
Breaking and entering (house), 100 block Nancy Drive, April 6, someone reports that a 25-inch color GE console televison was removed from an apartment residence.
Grand larceny, Katherine Street and Pinner Street, April 6, someone reports that items were missing from her vehicle after it was picked up from a dealer. The missing items included a dinner ring valued at $2,100, a gold dinner ring valued at $695, one gold bracelet valued at $900, one cameo pin valued at $359, one pair of cameo earrings valued at $190, one 18-inch herringbone gold necklace valued at $100, one 21-inch herringbone gold necklace valued at $140, one gold rhinestone and sapphire watch valued at $90 and various costume jewelry valued at $175.
Grand larceny, 800 block Dill Road, April 6, a Fisher brand VCR was removed from a residence.
Grand larceny, 1300 block Portsmouth Blvd., April 7, someone removed a Motorolla cellular flip phone with a black carrying case.
Stolen firearm, 400 block Carolina Road, April 7, between March 19 and March 24, someone lost a Lorcin L-9 9mm gun. The weapon is silver with a black grip and loaded with 13 rounds.
Breaking and entering (house), 400 block Webb Street, April 8, someone cut the phone lines to a residence and a Zenith 25-inch television valued at $600 and a VCR were removed.
Petit larceny, 600 block East Constance Road, April 8, someone broke the left rear window of an 86 Pontiac and removed one AM/FM cassette factory made radio from the vehicle.
Petit larceny, 1100 Myrtle Road, April 8, someone broke the driver's side rear window to gain entry to an 82 Oldsmobile and removed a JVC AM/FM cassette radio.
Breaking and entering (business), 1000 block Portsmouth Blvd., April 9, someone broke out a window with a black tire iron and removed various items.
Grand larceny, 1100 Nansemond Parkway, April 9, someone broke the rear sliding glass window on a vehicle and removed one Sony AM/FM CD player, one amplifer and two mix speakers valued at a total of $1,000.
Grand larceny, 900 block Portsmouth Blvd., someone removed a Pioneer AM/FM cassette radio and a Sony 70 watt power amp from a vehicle while it was in for repair.
Petit larceny, 1000 Nansemond Parkway, April 11, someone removed a Suffolk city decal from the interior of a van.

Breaking and entering (house), 1900 block Pittmantown Road, April 12, someone entered a vacant residence. Nothing was removed but damages are $250.

Petit larceny, 700 block Carolina Road, April 6, someone removed approximately 600 pounds of scrap metal. A Ford truck and scrap dryer were damaged in the process at an estimated cost of $700.
Petit larceny, 1400 Lipton Circle, April 10, two city decals are reported missing.
Petit larceny, 100 block Winterviw Drive, April 11, someone reports that she never received her Suffolk city decal through the mail.
