Carole McCraw Haymaker, 30, of the 1400 block of Grassmere Court, an administrative assistant, died April 16, 1995, in her residence.
Mrs. Haymaker was born in Norfolk and was employed with the Norfolk Community Services Board. She was an alumnasw of Virginia Wesleyan College; received her master's in Public Administration from Old Dominion University; National Leadership Honor Society - Omicron Delta Kappa; and Virginia Wesleyan College Varsity Women's Soccer and Softball.
Survivors include her husband, Wayne Haymaker Jr.; a daughter, Caroline Ashley Haymaker of Virginia Beach; her mother, Betty Lou Bradley McCraw and father, Jesse S. McCraw Sr.; a sister, Melinda M. Patterson; a brother, Jay McCraw; grandmother, Ruth McCraw; and two nephews, Wade and Scott Patterson, both of Virginia Beach; an aunt, Lucille B. Downing of Aurora, Ohio; and mother-in-law and father-in-law., Wayne and Mary R. Haymaker of Virginia Beach.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in Foundry United Methodist Church by the Rev. James L. Mahaffey. Burial will be in Good Hope United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will be at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Lynnhaven Chapel, from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday.
