CECIL G. WILLIAMS JR.

Cecil G. Williams Jr., 67, of the 500 block of W. 5th St., died April 20, 1995, in Suffolk.

A native of Nansemond County, Va., he was a member of Bethlehem Christian Church, Suffolk. He was a retired job safety coordinator for the Virginia Association of Electric Cooperation and was formerly with Community Electric for 25 years. He was a member of the Suffolk Unit of the Virginia National Guard and formerly served as a lieutenant; former Boy Scout leader of Bethlehem (NU)80; former member of Bethlehem Ruritan Club; former coach for Little League ball; and served as Commissioner of Kill Devil Hills.

Survivors include his wife, Ann Gallup Williams; a daughter, Brenda Williams Harrell of Walters, Va.; two sons, Michael D. Williams of Detroit and David A. Williams of Wakefield, Va.; two sisters, Marjorie W. Davidson of Suffolk and Mary W. March of Carrsville, Va.; a brother, Frank M. ``Tink'' Williams of Suffolk; two granddaughters, Ashley M. Harrell of Walters and Chandler P. Williams of Wakefield; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be conducted at 3:30 p.m. Sunday in Bethlehem Christian Church Cemetery by Dr. Richard Peerey and the Rev. Mike Harrell. Friends may join the family in the home of Frank and Carol Williams, 302 Sherwood Drive, Suffolk. Hill Funeral Home, Suffolk, is in charge. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to your favorite charity.
