THE SEA WALL

ILLUSTRATION: The fifth-graders at Thoroughgood Elementary School designed and

painted a mural of undersea life in the gym hallway. The project,

which began in February when the students went whale watching at

Rudee Inlet, was dedicated recently by principal Rebecca Harvey.

Aided by Dawn Holbrook, with a watering can, Harvey sprinkled the

wall with ocean water from Rudee Inlet, and the students sang

``Under the Sea'' from ``The Little Mermaid.'' Above: Student Dana
