Robert L. ``Slim'' Harris Sr., 77, of the 1100 block of Warfield Drive, a retired electrician, died April 20, 1995.
Mr. Harris was born in Severn, N.C. He retired from Norfolk Naval Shipyard after 33 years and was a member of New Mt. Vernon Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Ethel L. Harris; three sons, Robert L. Harris Jr., Garry A. Harris and Eric A. Harris; and five grandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday at New Mt. Vernon Baptist Church by the Rev. Vernon S. Lee. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Fisher Funeral Home. The family will be at the residence. The body will be placed in the church at 10 a.m. ILLUSTRATION: Photo
