A 14-year-old was charged with murder in the stabbing of a 15-year-old late Sunday.
The incident was reported at 6:57 p.m. in an apartment in the 3500 block of Pleasant Ave.
The victim, identified as Kentrial York, of the 9500 block of 24th Bay St., was taken to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 7:35 p.m.
The suspect, whose name was not released because of his age, was being held at the Tidewater Detention Home pending a hearing this morning.
