Joseph W. Hernandez II, 33, formerly of Norfolk, died April 20, 1995, in Ashland, Va.
Mr. Hernandez was a native of Norfolk. He was a former member of Christ the King Catholic Church in Norfolk.
Survivors include a son, Joseph W. Hernandez III of Norfolk; his parents, Lenora F. Hernandez and Joseph W. Hernandez of Tampa, Fla.; seven sisters, Elizabeth Baker of Norfolk, Belinda Parkins of Powhatan, Va., Lenora McKee of Bumpass, Va., Mary E. Rodriguez of Tampa, Fla., Valerie McGinty of Little Rock, Ark., Ceceila Breeden of Kansas City, Mo. and Rebecca Annarino of Kansas City, Mo.; and three brothers, Michael J. Hernandez of San Antonio, Texas and Steven A. Hernandez and Jon C. Hernandez, both of Norfolk.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 26, 1995, in Christ the King Catholic Church in Norfolk by Father Joseph P. Lehman. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. A Christian Wake service will be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday in the Norfolk Chapel of H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments.
