Clarence H.G.S. Fox of the 500 block of Ashlawn Drive, died April 22, 1995, in his residence.
Mr. Fox was born in South Boston, Va., and was retired from the City of Norfolk. He was a member of United Mission Holiness Church in Norfolk and the Deacon Board.
Survivors include his wife, Maudie Estella Fox; two daughters, Margie Ann Harris of Virginia Beach and Karolyn J.P. Fox of Norfolk; three sons, Curtis L. Gibbs of Newport News, Willie T. Harris of Fayetteville, N.C., and Albert E. Fox of Norfolk; 19 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday in Faith Temple COGIC by Elder James Williams. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. The remains will be ready for viewing at 3 p.m. Wednesday. The body will be taken to the church at 11 a.m. The family will assemble at his residence at noon for the processional. Carlos A. Howard Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
