Maurice Nichols of the 1400 block of Ellerbeck Court died April 22, 1995.
He was born in New York and was a member of Greater Emmanuel Temple in New York, the Choir and Evangelistic Minsisters.
Survivors include his parents, Sheila Nichols-Owens and Roosevelt Owens, both of Virginia Beach; three sisters, Kendra Nichols, Cherie Owens and Shareem Owens, all of Virginia Beach; three brothers, Kevin Nichols of New York, Stephen Owens of St. Petersburg, Fla. and Kareem Owens of Virginia Beach; grandmother, Dora Owens of St. Petersburg, Fla.; a special uncle, Eugene Nichols of Bronx, N.Y.; a sister-in-law, Nicole Nichols of Bronx; and a host of aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.
A funeral will be conducted at noon Thursday in Community Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, by the Rev. Willie Royster. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park.
