HARLEE LOCKLEAR

Harlee Locklear, aged 61, of the 100 block of Swain Ave., a retired forklift operator, died April 26, 1995, in Chesapeake.

Mr. Locklear was born in Robeson County, N.C. He retired from Ford Motor Co. after 32 years and was a member of Cedar Road Assembly of God.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Phennett Locklear; three daughters, Dinah Locklear of Washington, D.C., Jeannie Locklear of High Point, N.C., and Sheryl Ann Locklear of Red Springs, N.C.; a son, Steve Locklear of Portsmouth; three sisters, Margaret Hornburg of Groton, Conn., Carol Oxendine of Randallman, N.C., and Frances Lovitt of Chesapeake; four brothers, Purcell Locklear and Shirley Locklear, both of Red Springs, N.C., Horace Locklear of San Bernardino, Calif., and Clarence Locklear Jr. of Greensboro, N.C.; four grandchildren; two stepdaughters, Katrina Rands of Chesapeake and Ann Marie Miser of San Diego, Calif.; and a stepson, Joe Durben of Chesapeake.

A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday at Cedar Road Assembly of God, Chesapeake, by the Rev. Ben Bonnici. Burial will be in Chesapeake Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Graham Funeral Home, South Norfolk Chapel, from 7 to 8 p.m. today and at the residence all other times.
