Charles Russell Tasker, 85, of the Mayflower Seaside Towers, died Tuesday, April 25, 1995, in Virginia Beach General Hospital. He was a native of Washington, D.C., and retired as a lieutenant colonel in the U.S. Army after 20 years, and in 1970, retired after 20 years with the civil service. He was a veteran of World War II and the Korean Conflict.
He is survived by two brothers, John H. ``Jack'' Tasker of Greensboro, N.C., and Chester F. Tasker of Lake Worth, Fla.
A memorial service will be conducted Friday, April 28th, at 2 p.m. in the Meastas Funeral Home Baltic Avenue Chapel. Burial will be at a later date in Greensboro Cemetery, Greensboro, N.C.
