Byron George Brockwell, 57, of the 2800 block of Elliott Ave., a tile mechanic, died April 25, 1995, in his residence.
He was a native of Roanoke Rapids, N.C., and a member of Trinity Episcopal Church, Portsmouth, and Nights of Pythias-Deep Creek Lodge.
Survivors include his wife, Mary C. Brockwell; a daughter, Stephanie A. Brockwell; his mother, Madeline Hull Brockwell; and a sister, Mildred E. Brockwell, all of Portsmouth; and a brother, Daniel P. Brockwell of Bristow, Va.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday at Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, by Dr. Geoffrey M. Hahneman. Burial will be in Portsmouth Catholic Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. today and other times at 16 South Colin Drive, Portsmouth.
