HUBERT E. CROCKER

Hubert E. Crocker, son of Allena M. Crocker and the late Hubert C. Crocker, was born July 3, 1925, in Philadelphia, Pa. He departed this life on Saturday, April 22, 1995, in a local hospital in Norfolk.

He spent his early childhood in Norfolk, graduating from Catholic High School. He entered the U.S. Navy serving tours in the South Pacific during World War II, and in Southeast Asia in the Korean Conflict as a Chief Petty Officer.

He leaves to mourn his loss three children, Kristi Crocker Linyear, Vernika Torain, and Kendall Korry Crocker; five grandchildren; five sisters; two brothers; and many other relatives and friends.

There will be a viewing of the body at Fitchett Funeral Home, 1821 E. Liberty St., in Chesapeake on Thursday, April 27, 1995, from 4 p.m. through 9 a.m. A memorial service will be held at Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church at 1141 Campostella Rd. in Norfolk at 1 p.m.
