JESSE L. HARDISON

Jesse L. ``Sue'' Hardison, 84, of the 100 block of Brinkley Place, died Wednesday, April 26, 1995, in Washington County Hosptial.

He was born on August 7, 1910, in Plymouth and was the son of the late William R. and Mrs. Blanche Sanderlin Hardison. Hew was a member of the First Christian Church and was a retired employee of Weyerhaeuser Paper Co., retiring in 1975 following 37 years of service.

Surviving are his wife, Audrey T. Hardison of the home; two daughters, Mable Hardison of Raleigh and Jessie Lynn Burnham of South Mills, N.C.; one half-sister, Modie Craft of Plymouth; and two grandchildren, Phil Burnham of South Mills and Laura B. Tuttle of Clayton. Several nieces also survive. Mr. Hardison was preceded in death by his two brothers and a sister.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday in First Christian Church by the Rev. Richard Flowers. Interment will be at Hillside Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Walker Funeral Home Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m. Contributions may be made to the First Christian Church Memorial Fund, P.O. Box 97, Plymouth, N.C. 27962.
