Christine Mickert, 84, of the 4400 block of Debra Ct., died April 27, 1995, in a Portsmouth hosptial.
She was a native of New York City, and was the widow of Robert Mickert. She was a member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Nancy Tew of Chesapeake and Lynn Friend of Old Greenwich, Conn.; one brother, John Joosten of Winter Park, Fla.; four grandchildren, Karin Beaton, Laura Tew, Genevieve Friend and Robert Friend.
A memorial service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Saturday in Aldersgate United Methodist Church by the Rev. Robert Coffield.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Aldersgate United Methodist Church or one's favorite charity. Loving Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
