WEBSTER L. WALKER

Webster Litchfield ``Lit'' Walker, 82, of Broad Bay Colony, died April 26, 1995 in Norfolk.

Mr. Walker was born in Columbia, N.C. He retired from the Norfolk Army Corp of Engineers after over 60 years, was a member of Francis Asbury United Methodist Church, Great Bridge Royal Arch Chapter (NU)82 and Khedive Temple of the Shrine, a member and past master of Great Bridge Masonic Lodge (NU)257 A.F.& A.M., and was an Army veteran of World War II, serving in the European and Pacific Theater.

Survivors include his wife, Mellie Osmundson Walker; a brother, Montroville B. Walker Jr. of Virginia Beach; 11 nieces and nephews; and several great-nieces and nephews.

A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday at Francis Asbury United Methodist Church by the Rev. Joseph French. Burial will be in Rosewood Memorial Park. The family will be at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Great Neck Chapel, from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. today. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, 360 Southport Circle, Virginia Beach, Va. 23451 or to Francis Asbury United Methodist Church, 1871 N. Great Neck Road, Virginia Beach, Va. 23451.
