Dare County Sheriff's Deputies arrested three Manteo men Thursday in an investigation into the alleged sale and delivery of cocaine.
Arthur O. Spruill, 26, of Manteo was charged with felony possession of cocaine, with the intent to sell and deliver the substance, and with one count of sale and delivery of cocaine.
Matisse Monet Spencer, 20, also of Manteo, was arrested on a fugitive warrant from Chesapeake on a larceny charge. Andrew Banks, 26, was charged with felony possession of cocaine, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Spruill was released on $15,000 bond. Spencer was being held without bond. Banks was being held in lieu of a $3,500 bond.
Authorities confiscated an undetermined amount of cash and electronic equipment in the raid.
Sheriff's department spokesman Rodney Midgett said the arrests were the culmination of several months of investigation. Midgett said investigators received fresh information Thursday morning that led to the issuance of the search warrants.
Other arrests may be forthcoming as a result of the investigation, Midgett said. by CNB
