Susie May Turner, 87, of the 4900 block of Nansemond Parkway, died April 28, 1995,k in Portsmouth.
She was a native of Enfield, N.C.
Survivors include a son, James W. Hyman of Suffolk; four grandchildren, James Hyman Jr., Steve Whedbee, Alisa Harrell and Robert D. Hyman; seven great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, from 7 to 8 p.m. Monday.
