Mrs. Julia ``Jay'' Johnson Harden, 62, of 104 Pecan St., died Saturday, April 29, 1995 in Pitt Memorial Hospital. She was a native of Northampton County, a member of Cashie Baptist Church, a registered nurse employed by Bertie Memorial Hospital and former OR supervisor.

A funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Monday, May 1, 1995 in Cashie Baptist Church by the Rev. Jack Byrd and the Rev. Dan Hutchins. Burial will follow in Edgewood Cemetery.

Survivors include: husband: Cecil Harden, Jr., Windsor, NC; daughter: Julie H. Collins, Windsor, NC; son: Ronnie Harden, Windsor, NC; sister: Louise J. Outland, Rocky Mount, NC; grandchildren: two.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Sunday at Walker Funeral Home.
