ELLEN MARGRET-CASE BANKS

Ellen Margret-Case Banks, 71, of the 7000 block of Mamie Blvd., a retired nursery school teacher, died April 27, 1995.

Mrs. Banks was born in Cape Charles, Va. She retired from Norfolk Public Schools-Temple Isreal after 17 years and was retired 12 years. A citation for service was presented to Ellen C. Banks for her service to Norfolk Public Schools.

Survivors include her husband, Mr. Walter Thomas Banks Sr.; a daughter, Barbara Banks Tazewell; and two sons, Walter Banks Jr. and Alan Banks, all of Norfolk; sisters-in-law, Laura Marie Banks of Norfolk, Gracie Mae Banks, Hettie Wortham and Ethel Banks of Newbern, N.C.; brother-in-law, Charlie Lewis Banks of Newbern; and grandchildren, Everett J. Banks, Nina J. Banks, Bryson J. Tazewell and Nakeia S. Malinao, all of Norfolk.

A funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Macedonia Holiness Church, Norfolk. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. E.A. Hughes Funeral Home is handling arrangements. ILLUSTRATION: Photo
