Homophobia is alive and well at the very highest level of the Virginia courts.
One basis for the denial of Sharon Bottoms' right to be a parent is - gasp! - Virginia's laws making oral sex illegal. Well, we certainly know that the only people in the state engaging in such abominable acts are lesbians! And by all means, we should ignore all the studies that have shown no evidence that being raised by a gay parent is harmful to the children involved.
I salute the Virginia Supreme Court and its
homophobic stand!
