Royner Whitaker, of the 3100 block of Tidewater Drive, died April 28, 1995, in Chesapeake General Hospital.
He was a native of Norfolk County.
Survivors include one son, William E. Whitaker of Newark, N.J.; his mother, Edith M. Whitaker of Chesapeake; three sisters, Maggie Simmons, Lestine Gaylord and Brenda Reed, all of Chesapeake; three brothers, Royce Whitaker and Mevlin Farrow of Chesapeake, and S.S.G. Calvin Whitaker of Abeerdean, Md.
The funeral will be at noon Tuesday in Fitchett Funeral Home, Chesapeake. Burial will be in Lincoln Cemetery, Portsmouth.
