James A. Moreland, 68, of the 4000 block of Elliott Ave., a retired welder, died April 30, 1995, in his home.
He was a native of Nottoway County and was a member of Chesapeake First Pentecostal Holiness Church. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley A. Moreland; four children; two sisters, and eight grandchildren.
The graveside service will be conducted at 11:30 a.m. Tuesay in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens by the Rev. Wayne Sawyer. The family will be at Snellings Funeral Home, George Washington Highway Chapel, today from 4 to 6 p.m.
