Elsie Trent, 87, of John Knox Towers, died April 27, 1995, in a local hospital.
She was a native of Emporia, Va., and was a retired domestic worker.
Survivors include several cousins and a host of friends.
The funeral will be conducted at noon Wednesday in Jerusalem Baptist Church, Norfolk, by Dr. T.M. Venable. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Gardens. The remains will be placed in the church at 10 a.m. Wednesday. Family and friends will meet at Hale Funeral Home at 11 a.m. for the procession to the church.
