Christine Minadakis, 79, a retired restaurant owner, died April 30, 1995, in her home.
Mrs. Minadakis was born in Kaimyglee, Cyprus, Greece. She was the widow of Jasson D. Minadakis. Mrs. Minadakis was a member of St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church of Virginia Beach, and was a member of the Ladies of St. Nicholas Philoptochos.
Survivors include a daughter, Niki Christine Minadakis of Norfolk; a son, Leander J. Minadakis and his wife, Judith, of Richmond, Va.; a sister, Helen Parson of New York; a grandson, Jasson Minadakis of Cincinnati, Ohio; and a granddaughter, Anne Lea Hastey of Portsmouth.
A church service will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 2, 1995, in St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church, Virginia Beach, by Father George Paulson. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. A Trisagion Service will be held today at 7 p.m. in H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Laskin Road Chapel. Donations may be made to St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church, 621 First Colonial Road, Virginia Beach, Va. 23451.
