The April 23 Business section featured an article concerning the extremes of the rich and poor economic stratification of the United States as compared to other industrial nations. This article was backed up by Richard Cohen's column on the Perspectives page of the same date. Both implied that a redistribution of the nation's wealth would be desirable.
The Business section contained 22 pages. Approximately three pages were dedicated to business articles. Fourteen pages contained help-wanted ads. It would seem to me that the ideal way to begin the redistribution of wealth would be for the less fortunate to answer the ads and get jobs. There seem to be plenty available.
