BARON E. WILSON

Baron Eugene Wilson, 31, of the 1000 block of Level Green Blvd., died April 28, 1995, in Washington, D.C.

Mr. Wilson was in the military and a member of St. Thomas AMEZ. He received the Army Commendation Medal, Army Achievement Medal, Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Noncommissioned Officer Ribbon, Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon, Southwest Asia Service Medal with Bronze Service Star, Kuwait Liberation Medal, and Sharpshooter Badge with Rifle Bar. His military education included Combat Signal Specialist Course, Air Assault Course, Airborne School Leadership Development Course, and Noncommissioned Officer Course.

Survivors include one son, Baron Dominik Wilson of Stunttgart, Germany; mother, Sarah A. Banks of Virginia Beach; sister, Angela M. Riggens of Virginia Beach; two brothers, Jerome Banks and Christopher J. Banks, both of Virginia Beach; great-aunt, Cartherine Penn of Norfolk; Amalia Wilson of Brooklyn, N.Y.; and a host of uncles, cousins, and friends.

The funeral will be conducted Thursday at 1:30 p.m. by the Rev. G.L. Scott in St. Thomas AMEZ. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park, Chesapeake. There will be a wake service from 7 to 8 p.m. Wednesday. Pretlow and Sons Funeral Home, Chesapeake, is in charge.
